Good news regarding residential development at Church Hill Centre

Some positive news to share.

You may have heard that plans were afoot for a “house of multiple occupation” (HMO) on Tanhouse Lane between the new apartments (old doctor’s surgery) and St Andrew’s Church.

I listened to your concerns and worked with the developer who has been very receptive and cooperative to see what could be done. I’m delighted to report that he has decided to change the application so it won’t be a HMO any more but instead will be for two small houses.

In addition he has offered to install a footway for the benefit of local residents.

I hope this news is welcome as it will mean less pressure on parking spaces than a HMO and the new footway is something people have been asking for.

I’m very thankful to the developer for his open and cooperative approach.
