I am campaigning for the Beryl Bike Cycle Hire Scheme to be rolled out to Worcestershire, starting with Bromsgrove, Redditch and Kidderminster. But we don’t need to stop there – all of the shires surrounding the urban West Midlands should be able to access the scheme too. We’re not asking for a freebie – every local authority will need to pay to join the scheme, but at the moment it’s locked to the 7 authorities of the West Midlands Combined Authority. Let’s change the contract so the wider West Midlands can benefit from the scheme too!
